The main function of the oil and gas separator:
1. It is the inlet for oil and gas to enter the multi-stage centrifugal pump;
2. Before the mixed liquid enters the multi-stage centrifugal pump, the separator separates the free gas from the well fluid, thereby reducing the impact of gas on the working characteristics of the submersible electric pump, preventing cavitation and gas lock in the centrifugal pump, allowing the multi-stage centrifugal pump to operate normally. The oil and gas separator is a device that separates the crude oil produced from the oil well and the associated natural gas. The oil and gas separator is placed between the submersible centrifugal pump and the protector, separating the free gas from the well fluid, sending the liquid to the submersible centrifugal pump, and releasing the gas into the annular space of the oil pipe and casing.
